The plays in our theater in Paris

Among all the theatres and performance venues in Paris, the Laurette Theatre stands out as a benchmark. Located in the 10th arrondissement, this venue is indeed one of the best known to local residents, as well as to others who come to spend one or more evenings there during their busy week.

She is also internationally recognized, appealing to a diverse audience who admire her eclecticism and artistic commitment.

Here is the program that is proposed for the year 2024:

The Mechanics of the Unexpected

Attend an improvisation show where 5 players have fun with themes chosen by the audience. That's right! The typewriter is broken, and it needs fixing… To do this, it needs to be fed with spontaneity and energy; you are the spontaneity, and your themes provide all the energy.

For 1 hour and 15 minutes, enjoy all the improvisations of a wacky troupe!

Let's simplify spelling. Shall we vote?

Oh no! A renowned grammarian, Nestor, is being blackmailed into simplifying French spelling! To keep him out of prison, his assistants force him to comply. The two of them then decide to ask the public for their opinion, hoping they can settle their differences.

A word of advice: make sure you check your knowledge before you come! Then, vote for or against the reform proposed by the two language professionals.

Following in the footsteps of Arsène Lupin

Want to follow in the footsteps of the greatest illusionist known as Arsène Lupin? Also known for being a clever and skillful thief, we advise you to be careful lest he intrude upon your thoughts and steal them!

This is the story of a legend that became a show.

It is through magical phenomena and mentalism experiments that only he knows and can control that he will discover where the greatest treasure is located… For 1 hour and 15 minutes, experience unique moments through readings and manipulation of thought, numerology, the study of behavior and predictions.

Jean-Michel Lupin will be delighted to question and tease your mind!

No Exit

Jean-Paul Sartre's "No Exit" features Garcin, Inès, and Estelle, brought together in a mysterious place where they discover their role is to become each other's executioners. In this hell, symbolized by the famous phrase "Hell is other people," Sartre explores existentialism, asserting that our freedom cannot be stolen by others. Far from being pessimistic, the play encourages us to take responsibility for our choices and find meaning in our lives, emphasizing that despite the torment of contemplating the past, we must take stock of our lives and assume the consequences.
