About the show:
Immerse yourself in the world of Les Fleurs du mal, a sensory and theatrical adaptation of Baudelaire's work. On stage, three actresses and one actor bring to life a poetic journey through spleen, love, pleasure, beauty, and death.
To the sound of warm, enveloping music, each poem becomes a celebration of the five senses. Victorian corsets, soothing instruments, and incense burners contribute to this immersive experience, inviting you to slow down and meditate. You will also hear excerpts from "My Heart Laid Bare," the poet's daily notes.
With an unabashed sensuality, this show explores different pieces from the collection, from the verses of The Albatross to the melancholy of Spleen, passing through the voluptuousness of The Jewels, celebrates sapphic loves with Lesbos, and culminates in the terrifying warning of The Clock.
