About the show:

Immerse yourself in the world of Les Fleurs du mal, a sensory and theatrical adaptation of Baudelaire's work. On stage, three actresses and an actor bring to life a poetic journey through sadness, love, pleasure, beauty and death.

To the sound of enveloping and warm music, each poem becomes a celebration of the five senses. Victorian corsets, soothing instruments and censers participate in this immersion which invites you to slow down and meditate. You will also hear excerpts from “My heart laid bare”, the poet's daily notes.

With an assumed sensuality, this show explores different pieces from the collection, from the verses of The Albatross to the melancholy of Spleen, through the voluptuousness of The Jewels, celebrates the sapphic loves with Lesbos, and culminates in the terrifying warning of The Clock.
