About the show:

A Hamlet like you've never seen before: concise, incisive, with a touch of comedy, performed by four actors and a new translation into French alexandrine verse. In a dark and fantastical Middle Ages, Marie Brulfert's gothic dolls mingle with the living, while Shams Bouteille's original music accompanies the madness and dilemmas of the Danish prince.

"Despite the ellipses, the entire content of the text is conveyed in all its depth. The modernized translation into alexandrine verse is highly relevant and masterfully executed. Imago des Framboisiers manages, with very limited resources, to achieve what others, despite considerable budgets, cannot. A show not to be missed under any circumstances." Jérôme K.

"To be or not to be, that is the whole question.

To endure injury and persecution

Of an infamous fortune, in what way is it more noble?

Rather than drawing the sword against the ignoble tide

"Life's troubles to finally bring it to an end?"

Success at the Avignon OFF 2025 festival, translation into alexandrine verse of Imago des Framboisiers (BOD editions)
