Our shows to see tonight at the Laurette Theatre in Lyon

Without abandoning the fundamental principles of comedy, the actors of the Laurette Theatre invite you to discover their plays, Mars and Venus and Pierre Daverat, who wish you well. Always hoping to make you laugh and have fun, they guarantee a highly successful performance and staging, with the aim of making you think.

We invite you to consider humor as a powerful tool for sparking reflection and stimulating critical thinking. Particularly entertaining, the plays in our program are also designed to challenge certain conventions and highlight the absurdities of everyday life!

Mars and Venus

This is a play that deserves to be enjoyed as a couple. For 1 hour and 5 minutes, witness the portrayal of the striking differences between men and women; they may love and cherish each other, but it doesn't change anything… The problems are the same! Putting away clean clothes, picking up dirty ones, searching for the TV remote, taking charge of organizing the holidays—in short, numerous topics are addressed to make you laugh but also think.

On the stage of our Laurette Theatre, Sarah Pelissier and Pierre Daverat dissect the complexities of love, from love at first sight to tumultuous arguments, not forgetting the inevitable discussion about marriage. But ultimately, isn't that what "love" is all about? Living with each other's strengths and weaknesses, criticizing them, laughing at them, playing with them, manipulating them, and then finally forgetting them to start all over again, every day…

During tonight's show in Lyon , "don't be surprised if some of the scenes seem familiar, as they reflect the reality of many relationships."

Pierre Daverat wishes you well

Welcome to the completely wacky world of Pierre Daverat, an iconic actor at the Laurette Theatre for many years. Now alone on stage, he tackles the subject of being single after many years of being in a couple; a kind of tale in which dark humor, absurdity, and poetry intertwine.

Tonight, while he performs his show, discover all the facets of a character who is both disturbing and reassuring because, yes, he “means you well”.
