Welcome to the Laurette Theatre in Avignon! Nestled in the heart of this iconic city, our theatre located at 14 rue Plaisance, 16-18 rue Joseph Vernet, near Place Crillon, opens its doors wide to you.


Formerly known as Théâtre de la Mainate, we have chosen to rename it in homage to our dear friend Laurette Fugain.


Our stage is steeped in the history and vibrant energy of Avignon and its festival.

The steps to submit your show to the Laurette Theatre

To submit your show to the Laurette Theatre, we invite you to follow these 4 steps:


Step 1: Preparing your application


Carefully gather all essential information about your event. This includes the synopsis, cast, show duration, etc. In addition, please provide a detailed technical specification outlining your requirements for stage, lighting, sound, etc.

Our team reviews programming requests year-round. We assess your application based on the event and offer co-production, co-presentation, rental, or even complimentary use of our venues, depending on availability and the characteristics of our facilities. In some cases, we can direct you to a venue better suited to your needs.

Once we receive your application, please wait for a response from our team. We will review your request and offer you suitable contracts if your show is deemed feasible in our venues.

What is the price for renting a theatre hall in Avignon?
