The 7 plays to see in Paris in 2024

To liven up your upcoming weekends or workdays, let yourself be captivated by the 7 plays we have planned in our program. Our team is delighted to welcome you to our venue, designed to offer you unique and memorable experiences. Get ready for some truly memorable moments!

Jane Eyre

Adapted from Charlotte Brontë's novel, this play is directed by Imago des Framboisiers, who breathe new life into this masterpiece of British literature. Written by an author using a male pseudonym, its eponymous character seems to share certain traits with her. The novel explores themes of love, morality, independence, and the condition of women in Victorian society.

Today, the novel's lines are brought to life on stage by Monica Tracke and Sofia Kerezidou, so that we can finally hear what Jane Eyre has to tell us!

This show was presented at the 2022 Avignon OFF Festival.

No Exit

“Hell is other people”; everyone knows this quote from Jean-Paul Sartre, summarizing in a few words the subject of his play No Exit.

Three protagonists find themselves before a judge to answer for their actions, before being judged for eternity. However, each will discover that their true tormentor is none other than the two others standing beside them…

At the Laurette Theatre, Karine Kadi invites you to become a spectator of this trial but an actor in your own; what do you regret that you can no longer change?

Simplify spelling

For 1 hour and 5 minutes, Nadia Mouron and Bernard Fripiat will need your help to react effectively to the blackmail they are subjected to, forcing them to revise and simplify spelling. We recommend that viewers brush up on their spelling and etymological knowledge, as this comedy will later ask you to vote for or against the proposed reform!

The Ego Crisis

Did you know that narcissism is an emotional state that can lead a person to commit the worst acts? Unfortunately, Rachel is a woman with an oversized ego, multiplied by three… But being so self-absorbed, she forgets about others and their intentions! She swallows everything she's told.

Whether alone or in a group, this modern comedy will thrill you for 1 hour and 15 minutes!

The mechanics of the unexpected

For 1 hour and 15 minutes, a team of 5 actors will present an improvisation show on themes chosen by the audience! With your help, they will be able to overcome the malfunction of their typewriter.

The Picture of Dorian Grey

A classic in Oscar Wilde's bibliography, The Picture of Dorian Gray is being presented as a play at our Laurette Theatre. Directed by Imago des Framboisiers, it immerses the audience in the torment of a young man willing to give his soul to preserve his features and avoid the effects of aging…

Following in the footsteps of Arsène Lupin

Let yourself be drawn into the mysterious and captivating world of Arsène Lupin, the gentleman thief renowned for his skill. This show offers magic tricks and mentalism, transporting you to a world where the line between reality and illusion blurs and seems to disappear…

Children and adults alike will be amazed by the magical phenomena and fascinating experiments skillfully performed by the author and director of his own show: Jean-Michel Lupin.
