About the show:
When Antigone's two brothers kill each other during the War of the Seven Against Thebes, their uncle Creon seizes power and decides to honor Eteocles with a magnificent funeral. But at the same time, he chooses to abandon Polynices' body to the birds of prey. Faced with what she considers an absolute injustice, Antigone will do everything in her power to give her other brother a proper burial, even at the risk of her own life.
Between brotherly love, visceral fears, power, misogyny and personal ambitions, this play by Sophocles remains surprisingly modern and fascinating.
