About the show:

Having arrived from Paris, Valery settles in Miremont to write. At the town hall, he meets Aymerick, a passionate, overworked municipal employee deeply devoted to his

village. An unexpected bond forms between them, made up of awkwardness, humor and confidences.

It is through this relationship that Miremont opens up to Valery: Aymerick becomes the first face, the first voice, the gateway to this human territory.

Around them unfolds Miremont, a French village one might think one knows: a church steeple, a town hall, a few deserted streets. But behind this apparent tranquility emerge singular lives. A hypersensitive cemetery caretaker, a community organizer searching for love, a performance artist adrift, two neighbors reunited by a missing cat. Trajectories sometimes comical, sometimes heartbreaking, where loneliness is recounted and transformed.

"A topical subject handled with great finesse and humor, and performed by two top-notch actors. I highly recommend this play." – THE OUTINGS GUIDE
