About the show:

Magali, a dynamic single mother, dreams of freedom, tranquility and... becoming a grandmother one day. But at 30, her son Stéphane still lives at home, slumped on the couch, without a job, without a girlfriend, without waking up before 4 p.m. When she decides to give him an ultimatum, things start to unfold: little lies, maternal manipulation, attempts to escape... and absurd twists and turns!

On stage, Isabelle Virantin and Pierre Daverat deliver an irresistibly accurate and humorous duo. One plays a mother at the end of her rope but full of love, the other an endearing thirty-something, in the midst of a maturity crisis. Their complicity hits the mark, and the chiseled dialogue flows at a frenetic pace.

A Son on a Leg is a portrait, both funny and moving, of a generation struggling to leave the nest... and of a mother ready to do anything to help it stand on its own two feet.
