The good ones
It is a tale, and even a fantastical one. Claire and Solange Lemercier, who died in 1947, have become two spirits who tirelessly repeat, at nightfall, like Sisyphus, the famous last night of their lives and their devotion to Madame…

About the show:
They thus "relive" their daily ceremonies and rituals, with simple stones in the garden of silence, flowers offered, objects left on their graves, and play like children for eternity. The maids are still busy using the broom—probably forgotten by the gravedigger—carefully, and maintain, in their feeble memories, their status as maids.
The nighttime atmosphere is gentle, with night birds hooting and singing, the wind rustling through the treetops, and the church bell ringing... Finally, Madame also awakens as if from a dream..
"A fairy tale requires both belief and a refusal to believe, but in order for belief to occur, the actresses must not perform in a realistic style."
Jean Genet's masterpiece is respected meticulously and in almost its entirety.
