About the show:
Three characters (Garcin, a journalist; Inès, a postal worker; and Estelle, a wealthy socialite) find themselves in the same room after their deaths. They don't know each other, come from very different backgrounds, and share neither the same beliefs nor the same tastes. Within this room, a closed-door trial begins, in which each of the three characters judges and is judged for the actions that have shaped their lives. Jean-Paul Sartre brilliantly describes "his hell" here, a hell in which there is neither executioner nor instruments of physical torture: "Hell is other people."
Show eligible for the CYRANOS 2022 awards / Off Festival success in 2019 and 2021
