Between Goncourt and République, a stone's throw from the old entrance to the Saint-Louis Hospital, not far from the Hôtel du Nord, very close to the Saint-Martin canal, a small room of about 100m² is developing and, day by day, establishing its name in this prestigious artistic landscape: the LAURETTE THEATRE
Its unique feature is that it is designed for very young children, hence its warm and particularly attentive atmosphere, and an intimacy that its 50 seats do not contradict.
Its very eclectic programming appeals to spectators as young as 2 years old as well as 80 years and older.
But, in both contexts, she remains very respectful of the specific characteristics that the theatre has established for itself.
The very young find open doors and outstretched arms with shows ranging from theatre to dance, song, black light, and all other forms of live entertainment (puppets, clowns, etc.).
Adults will find plenty to enjoy Monday through Friday between 7 pm and midnight, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 2 pm. The program features both contemporary French songs and classic repertoire, as well as new theatrical, dance, and other forms of performance. Plays and café-theatre performances are prominently featured. The program also includes solo acts, one-man shows, concerts, cabaret, and even hip-hop dance.
A place of learning and training, the Laurette Theatre is also synonymous with discoveries, conviviality, and celebrations for young and old alike.
